There is a voice that speaks to you always.
It is not loud.
It does not shout.
It waits patiently beneath the noise of the world, like a gentle wind rustling the leaves, or the hush before dawn.
We often live in the thunderstorm of demands—
The deadlines, the heartbreaks, the responsibilities, the regrets.
So many voices telling us who we should be… what we’ve done wrong… and what we’ll never become.
But beneath all that… there is another voice.
It speaks in moments of stillness—when you’re watching the sky shift colors at sunset, or when a song stirs your soul in ways you can’t explain.
It speaks when you’re not trying to control anything…
Just breathing… just being.
You may have heard it during a time of great pain—
When the tears came faster than answers, and yet, somehow, something inside whispered, “You will survive this. I am with you.”
Or maybe it was that sudden knowing to turn down a road you’d never taken, only to find the very thing you didn’t know you were looking for.
That voice?
It’s not your imagination.
It’s not a wishful thought.
It is the Holy Spirit, alive within your mind.
A Course in Miracles tells us:
“The Holy Spirit abides in that part of your mind which is part of the Christ Mind. He represents your Self and your Creator, Who are One.” (T-5.III.1)
He is not separate from you.
He is the memory of truth within you.
And even when we ignore Him, He never leaves.
Even when we cover our ears with doubt, with pride, with fear…
He remains.
This Voice does not condemn.
It does not punish.
It reminds.
It reminds you of who you are when you’ve forgotten—
A light in the mind of God.
A soul that cannot be broken.
A presence beyond pain.
Sometimes, people ask, “How do I hear the Voice of Spirit?”
And the answer is simpler than we think:
Be still.
Be still, and let the noise settle.
Forgive the world for what it never truly did.
Forgive yourself for believing it had power over you.
Then listen.
Not with your ears, but with your heart.
You may hear only silence.
But within that silence… is a Presence.
And within that Presence… is a Voice.
It says: You are safe.
You are loved.
You are not alone.
And if you listen long enough…
You’ll recognize that Voice as your own.
Because the truth has never left you.
And neither has Love.
