That’s a funny question—and an honest one.

Many years ago, when I was a commuter programmer, someone once said a tech guru is simply someone who knows one more thing than you do.

So, am I a spiritual guru?

To my friends and peers in the A Course in Miracles (ACIM) community, I’m just a fellow student—one who’s still learning, still stumbling, and doing my best to remember what’s true.

But if you’re someone who’s never heard of The Course or ever thought there might be something beyond what the eyes can see, then maybe, for a moment, I might seem like a guide.

The truth is, I’m neither a guru nor a master—just someone who’s been walking this path a little while. And maybe, by sharing what I’ve learned, I can help light a small part of the way for someone else.

As The Course says:

So, in the end, I’m just me. A student, a teacher, a friend on the path—sometimes a guide, sometimes just the guy holding the flashlight.

If you’d like to join me in exploring these ideas, you’re warmly invited to visit DinoJamesBooks.com, where I share essays, books, and reflections that come from my journey with A Course in Miracles. I hope they’ll be helpful to you, too.

Let’s keep learning together.
